Vijay Faces Fresh Setback Ahead Of Political Entry

Vijay is preparing to make his entry into politics but he is facing a few setbacks.

The Karur stampede case is now under CBI investigation and his last film Jana Nayagan, made on a big budget, is still facing censor issues. Adding to this, the Madras High Court has dismissed a writ petition filed by Vijay.

Vijay had challenged an Income Tax Department order that imposed a Rs. 1.5 crore penalty for not properly disclosing income in the 2015–16 financial year.

The department said an additional income of Rs. 15 crore was not declared. The court found no fault in the process and dismissed the petition but allowed Thalapathy Vijay to approach the IT Appellate Tribunal.

Vijay has not yet reacted to the verdict let’s see what happens.
